Intro to Ayurveda


Ayurveda is known as the "science of life" and gives direction for how to maintain health and vitality throughout life.

In this class you'll get a basic understanding of the main concepts and principles of Ayurveda, including:

  • How each person has a unique constitution and why the same foods and lifestyle choices don't work for everyone
  • Working with the basic elements of your constitution to maintain balanced health
  • General lifestyle tips to help you maintain overall balance, regardless of your constitution
  • How all the recent buzz about gut health is something that Ayurveda has recognized for thousands of years


Your Instructor: Vanashree Belgamwar


Vanashree was trained in India to be a Doctor of Ayurveda, receiving a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery degree. She's passionate about empowering people to better understand their bodies through the concepts and principles of Ayurveda.

She's also an experienced Hatha yoga and meditation teacher, and she often recommends yoga and meditation to her clients.
